T1 - 59.79s - Should have been close to my PB, but two missed gear changes put an end to that!
T2 - 68.03s - Trying too hard, put 4 wheels off on the first corner
The day before the Championship, we took part in the HDLCC event at Loton Park - see here which
enabled us to have some practice beforehand!
Much better weather today than the downpours of yesterday afternoon, but due to the possibility of some bad weather
later in the day, the event was restricted to 3 runs, with the hope of getting 2 dry runs. This didn't happen as T2 was
wet, but managed to knock 1.45s off the Club PB of 60.20s.

Managed to get a PB today of 58.75s.

Even warmer today than yesterday with the temperature at mid-late 20s.
This is the first time I have competed at Loton Park, what a great hillclimb! It is in a beautiful
setting in a deer park near Shrewsbury, a couple of miles from the Welsh border. The day before the
