When the opportunity came up to do a sprint at Cadwell Park, I took it, because it's one of my favourite circuits and I had only done track days there before, the last one back in 2007.

P1 - 104.33s
T1 - 98.12s (good enough for 3rd in Class)
T2 - DNS

On T1 I felt a bump under the driver's seat but couldn't discern any problems. On returning to the paddock I found coolant everywhere, the catch tank overflowing, the alternator belt off and the alternator fan missing! End of play. For the full story of the bent valves see here.
