Round 12 - Caterham & Lotus Seven Club Speed Championship 2024
The morning was dry, but unfortunately it rained quite heavily during lunch. There was a low turn-out,
so we had six runs before lunch! In the afternoon we had 3 more runs, with many deciding not to take the
first run after lunch due to the wet track.
Times
P1 - 63.84s
T1 - 62.70s
T2 - 62.31s
T3 - 62.23s
T4 - 61.93s - new Club PB
T5 - 62.20s
T6 - Decided not to run
T7 - 63.25s
T8 - 62.31s
The weather was warm, sunny and dry. T4 was my best run but still can't break the 60s barrier!

Round 4 - Lotus Seven Speed Championship 2016
Times
P1 - 61.79s - Sunny start but cool temperature
P2 - 60.49s - Still sunny and getting warmer
T1 - 60.31s - Still struggling off the line
T2 - 60.17s - Another new PB
T3 - 60.18s - Trying too hard!
Winner - Shaun Elwell 57.70s
Consistency is much better, just 0.325 between the last 4 runs and the 60.17 represented a new PB by 0.09 secs. Still struggling
off the line, 2.56 way off my previous best with 2.27. Tyres are now into their third season, so this won't be helping.
