Brittany Blat 2005

This year, our group comprising Brent & Tricia (this year's nominated organisers), Steve & Jenny, Mike (our intrepid interpreter) & Tam, Mike & Dorothy, Adil, Crudders and ourselves, headed down to a property called Kerdelann in Grandchamp, near Vannes on the Atlantic coast of Brittany. We decided to take two days to reach our destination and stayed at the Eden Park Hotel in Pont l'Eveque. This year the weather was very kind to us, barring the heavy rain that greeted us in Boulogne on the first morning, and as a result we didn't venture out as much as usual opting to make full use of the facilities at Kerdelann.

When we did go out it was usually to venture to the supermarket to stock up on excellent food and, of course, beer and wine!

In addition to the above, we visited the market at Auray, Locmariaquer, Trinité sur Mer, Presqu'ile de Quiberon and celebrated Bastille Night in Vannes.

As usual, it never ceases to amaze us that wherever we go in France there is always a great appreciation for our cars and it is not unusual, as we are sure many of you know, for people of all ages to stop and wave/clap/cheer etc as we go by.
