West Wittering BBQ
Surrey Sevens organised a BBQ
in June 2003 and we went down to the Sussex coast in a convoy of 3 with Steve & Jenny and Adil.
It was a beautiful sunny day and the BBQ consisted of, amongst other things, a beef roast (set up at 6am
by John Howe) and John's now-famous 'sossiges'. Much tyre-kicking took place, together with walks on
the vast area of beach as the tide was out. We had a great time and stopped off on en route to home
at a pub in Shipley for a few jars.
