After many years, the course layout was amended for the 2014 season and a 'cross-over'
has been added that links Molehill to the Shenstone Straight. See the following image for the new sequence of events. The L7C will continue to
use the original layout for it's August sprint and the new figure of 8 for the May sprint.
When we arrived at the paddock at 7.45am, it was cloudy and cold, with a chilly wind
blowing. Fortunately, the sun came out during the morning which helped raise the temperature a little.
After one practice run, we had 3 timed runs before lunch and then another 3 timed runs after lunch!
Chris came 3rd in Class with a time of 63.56s. Maggie helped with the scoring, as she always does when
we're at Curborough, so did a few stints in the scoring hut during the day (where she said it was lovely
and warm!).

We also made some cakes with VE toppers and Union Jack cases and handed these round in the paddock
Michael Calvert asked all this year's L7C
competitors to gather round Lewis Carine's winning Seven from last year's Championship for a photo
(as Lewis's photo is emblazoned on the back of this year's competitors' 'pink' t-shirt,
Michael also asked everyone to turn round with their backs to the camera!)
Thanks to Dave Clarke for these photos of
Chris on the circuit.
Thanks also to Dave Clarke for providing this
informative leaflet detailing all the L7C competitors at Curborough on Sunday.
Spotted these two mascots watching the action in the paddock!
Maggie helped as Scorer again today, I know she looks half asleep, but she was in fact awake and busy!
